I've always wanted to try this place because I love eating Korean food. My friend was also craving Korean food so we decided to check this place out. I am glad to see one of my favorite Korean dishes on the menu mandu & rice cake soup which I ordered. They have a mixture of items on their menu to choose from. The service is fast and friendly. I would come back here again for the convenience of not having to drive to K-Town for my favorite dish.

We were craving Galbi jjim so we decided to try this place. The ribs had great flavor and we really like the kombucha and the glass noddle with the short ribs. We also order their bossam, which was great with the napa and fresh kimchi. Love that we have another option when we crave galbi jjim. We will definitely be back to try their other items.

I really enjoy the atmosphere in this restaurant. It feels like a small, cozy Korean house, perfect for gathering with family and friends. We ordered the cold noodles and beef brisket sul long tang, both of which were delightful. The sul long tang was packed with flavor and ingredients, including plenty of green onions and glass noodles, which I love. The cold noodles were excellent, especially with mustard, and were loaded with ingredients like cucumbers and radish. The side dishes were amazing, with the fish cakes being my personal favorite. We also ordered the small bossam, which was the highlight of the meal. The combination of the bossam and sul long tang was perfect. The service was great, with our server checking on us and refilling our sides regularly. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to my friends!

Food was good, Always ask for extra spicy for yukgaejang. I always order their Yukgaejang extra spicy, and the cold noodle which is one of my top favorite cold noodle in this area. Also the spicy octopus dumplings are way too good with the cold noodle! Must try! Definitely coming back with family and friends!

The SEAFOOD soup with the addition of fresh pasta got my attention- I ordered the individual sized portion : Fresh clams, muscles, shrimp in a delicious broth -not fishy, just pure umami bliss! The Hot Pot family style size version seemingly has more variety of seafood. A must try! The restaurant specializes in Korean style beef-bone broth soups/stews (Yuk GAE Jang) and pork belly appetizer wrap (Bossam). Most Popular dish here is the Braised Short Rib Hot Pot called Galbi Jjim - every table on my visit was ordering this! The cold noodles was also recommended. Overall, I think anything on their menu is going to be very good. Parking is a pain in the busy plaza, luckily street parking was easy in the area. Service was efficient, ambiance casual. Yuk DAE Jang is a famous chain in Korea that made its way to SoCal (LA/OC County to San Diego.... Texas also has a location!) Am glad they open up in SGV!

Came here with my husband for a lunch date. It was a rainy day so there was hardly anyone and our server was able to take care of us. It was nice and quiet and there were plenty of tables. We ordered the Original Yuk Gae Jang with pasta and the small bossam for us to share. It was the perfect amount. Everything was sooo good! Our favorite is the bossam. It comes with a lot of sides including a cabbage, kimchi, some bean paste and other stuff and that don't really know what it is. I would definitely come back to try more. If you haven't tried bossam, I highly recommend it.

We were seated promptly. 2 other tables arrived after us - about 7 people. We ordered before the tables that arrived after us. My husbands yuk gae jang with ramyun arrived in normal time. However I waited and waited for my sul lung tang. The 2 tables that arrived and ordered after us received all their food while I was still waiting. My food arrived 14 mins after my husbands. That was extremely disappointing. However the soups were incredibly delicious. The side dishes (there were only 3 of them) were kind of lacking though.

Probably my fave spot in SGV for yuk dae Jung and pork bossam. The small pork bossam and the original yukdaejang is a very good portion for 2 ppl. I'm a noodle soup kinda gal and the soup broth is always flavorful and the noodles have a good amount of chew. The ambiance is very casual. They also have a variety of alcoholic beverages, which I often indulge in when eating Korean food. The service is always very tentative even when they get kinda busy.
